CPSL, Inc. formerly known as Central Piedmont Safe & Lock, Inc. was founded in 1980 by Roger Harwood. CPSL continues it’s 44 year legacy as a family owned business with the second generation of the family. Scott and Tammy Harwood are the current owners and managers of the business. This husband and wife team is committed to securing property, assets, and valuables for clients in Cabarrus and surrounding counties of North Carolina. CPSL is currently located in its third location at 517 Wilshire Ave. SW, Concord, NC 28025.

Scott Harwood
President
After joining the family business as a technician in 1984, Scott quickly advanced into management. Managing a team of technicians and growing the business became the primary focus of daily operations at Central Piedmont Safe & Lock. Scott became co-owner with Roger when CPSL, Inc. was established in 2004. In 2019, Scott and his spouse Tammy acquired the business, continuing to make advancements for future growth.
In addition to his leadership role, Scott conducts security site visits and handles project estimation, providing expert guidance to ensure the success of every project.
Tammy Harwood
Vice President
After their marriage in 1987, Tammy supported her husband in his role at CPSL. She always helps with administrative support and development and is credited with the CPSL slogan “The Key to Your Security”.
Gina Struck
Office Manager
Gina joined our team in 2009 and is likely the voice you will hear when you call us or visit the inside sales counter at our office. In addition to her role in communications, she is a very capable technician, holding her own NC Locksmith License. Gina is also available to assist with customer service, as well as accounts receivable and payable, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our clients.

HIGH SECURITY DOOR HARDWARE
Our company has been a Medeco High Security Lock dealer since 1987. We currently offer 4 proprietary keyways from Medeco that will give you complete control of unauthorized key duplication. Medeco lock cylinders offer extreme picking resistance and anti-drilling qualities. Our Medeco cylinders are often paired with Grade 1 & 2 Commercial Door Hardware for maximum benefit.
